salmanfaris last edited by salmanfaris
The main features in this initial alpha release of the new Arduino Pro IDE are:
- Modern, fully-featured development environment
- Dual Mode, Classic Mode (identical to the Classic Arduino IDE) and Pro Mode (File System view)
- New Board Manager
- New Library Manager
- Board List
- Basic Auto-Completion (Arm targets only)
- Git Integration
- Serial Monitor
- Dark Mode
But the new architecture opens the door to features that the Arduino community have been requesting like these that will be following on soon:
- Sketch synchronisation with Arduino Create Editor
- Fully open to third party plug-ins
- Support for additional languages other than C++
- The new Arduino Pro IDE is based on the latest technologies:
The Arduino CLI running in daemon mode provides all the main Arduino features.
The application frontend is based on the Eclipse Theia Open Source IDE.
Electron, the framework behind Eclipse Theia, allows the use of web technologies on desktop environments.
Let's test, I downloaded the Windows version and it's not installable package, portable one.
Versions (released on Saturday, October 19th at 16.00 CET)

suggestiosn are coool
Yup ! Bugs are everywhere
@arunksoman thankyou so much...your reply really busted the stress out of me...can you help with any documentations which i could possibly go through
@sreu13 It is possible and a far far better method.
@arunksoman hi,..sending image from rpi4 to cloud using this cloud for running prediction the above two processes should be automated and image should be sent to cloud when pi boots up(VM engine can be activated whenever nessesary)
actually at this point of time, I'm not willing to risk RPI4,....i thought of connecting the rpi4 to google cloud (already have an account with $300 credit) and proceeding with the code.
but i do not know if the below process can be executed
is this possible?
@sreu13 I edited comment please read that again. Most probably it will not effect your file system. In some scenarios it can create worse effect.
@arunksoman i'll try this method, but while executing swap command, will the rasbian os and the files it contains be effected??
